Never buy a Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera

It 'can get great pictures from a digital camera cheap? The purchase of a Nikon Coolpix L11 digital camera is certainly not break the bank. And 'currently selling for about $ 90 for a number of online merchants. But, you can splendid photos of when he or she will bring no harm, but the images of the heart and disgusting. Let's take a look at some of the less attractive features of the Coolpix L11 from Nikon, and find out.

One of my biggestProblems with digital cameras and digital camera manufacturers, is the exclusion of an optical viewfinder. Sure, we all love the cool factor with a nice big Lcd screen for viewing images. But not if the waiver of a larger Lcd finder. L11 especially on a camera that eats batteries like the Coolpix. With a viewfinder, which means you can still take pictures even when batteries die. And 'some' as a vicious circle ... Bigger Lcd = more room for the viewfinder = batterydie before ... and no chance the user to switch the viewfinder.

NIKON COOLPIX

The other problem with a large LCD screen on a camera is cheap, the quality of the screen. The LCD on the L11 is a bit 'grainy, but usable if used indoors. At least it's readable. Walking outdoors is another story. This is a technology, LCDs are readable in bright sunlight, and it works great. I have it on my marine GPS chart plotter, but this is a $ 800 toy. The attempt to use the LCD viewCoolpix L11 in a sunny day is almost impossible. An optical viewfinder would, of course, solve the problem (see previous report).

Never buy a Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera

The power saving feature, while a good idea for the L11 has not been very well made by Nikon. The camera tends to take a minute to close, if it decides that it is no longer used. During this time, you can not stop the arrest, and also the power again, is not an intuitive process.

A typical complaint withvirtually any camera in this price range, and also $ 100 more, the time interval between the big shots. Primarily through the flash is charged and the camera takes a long time to save the last photo on the memory card is causing. You can speed memory cards and batteries more, but will not make much difference. Some of the Faster memory cards cost almost as much as the Nikon Coolpix L11. Your best just always a better camera.

As if it was not givenThere are enough reasons to stay away from buying a Nikon Coolpix L11, here are a few more to think about:

- The main dial is too small and prone to operator error

- Turn out to night scenes or low light images very grainy

- The flash has an effective range of six feet

- USB connection cable is not standard (Micro USB)

- Old Coolpix 2100 model actually leads to better results

- Color accuracy suffers from indoor shooting
